Aeration & Seeding |
Aerating, seeding and dethatching your lawn are important to restore, revitalize and/or maintain your lawn. |
Aeration · Most important in helping your lawn to breathe properly. Aeration prepares your lawn for seeding and fertilizing Seeding · Promotes new growth and fills in thin areas in your lawn. Reseeding your lawn each year ensures a thick, beautiful lawn. We recommend lawns be seeded each fall after aeration. Dethatching · Thatch is a layer of grass stems, dead roots and debris that accumulate above the soil and below the grass blades. Thatch restricts air, water and fertilizer to penetrate the soil causing the grass to weaken.
Aerate, Seeding and Dethatching should be done in either September or October to ensure a beautiful, healthy lawn next year.
